Housekeeping Aide in Resident Facility

Location: New Westminster

Take pride in creating a clean living space as a Housekeeping Aide. This role involves maintaining the sanitation of both apartments and common areas, ensuring our residents feel at home.

You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing resident apartments and communal spaces according to established schedules. Operating cleaning machinery and following safety procedures are key aspects of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will attend training and team meetings to ensure continual improvement in service quality while respecting resident rights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean apartments and common areas systematically

• Utilize floor care machines for optimal cleanliness

• Perform deep cleaning of carpets and hard surfaces

• Dispose of waste appropriately and efficiently

• Document cleaning activities as required by residence policy

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills in English

• Experience with institutional cleaning methods

• Prior background in commercial or healthcare cleaning

• Ability to work independently and handle physical tasks

• Must obtain a current Vulnerable Sector Check
