Director of Emergency and Critical Care

Lead healthcare innovation as the Director of Emergency, Critical Care, Virtual Care, and Cardiology within the Eastern Rural Zone. Provide strategic oversight and enhance patient flow across services in a permanent, full-time role.

As a member of the senior leadership team, you will report to the Senior Operations Officer and be responsible for guiding teams in emergency and critical care. Your expertise will shape the strategic planning of vital services, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Collaboration with various stakeholders is key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership for Emergency, Critical Care, and Virtual Care teams

• Oversee strategic planning for critical services and patient flow

• Collaborate with leaders across NL Health Services

• Implement process improvements and change management

• Support effective financial management through accurate forecasting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline

• Minimum five years of progressive management experience

• Proven expertise in project management and change initiatives

• Strong clinical knowledge of acute care systems

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
