As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations of the winter shelter to ensure a supportive environment for vulnerable adults. Your leadership will drive collaboration among staff and ensure delivery aligned with organizational policies. This position requires a proactive approach to staffing, emergency response, and daily operations management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and administer the Burnaby Shelter Program
• Oversee 24/7 program operations and staff management
• Handle emergency response and staffing concerns promptly
• Ensure adherence to policies and mission objectives
• Train and mentor staff for effective program delivery
Requirements:
• Master’s in Social Work or related field preferred
• 5 years’ experience with vulnerable populations
• 3 years of supervisory experience with large teams
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean abstract
• Successful criminal record check completion
Lead the charge in providing support to vulnerable adults within a collaborative environment.
