PM Shift Production Assembler

Join our team as a Production Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in manufacturing medical devices. You will work on a fast-paced assembly line, collaborating with your team to complete production orders efficiently. This role requires adaptability and attention to detail, as you will need to work with small hand tools and follow written English instructions to assemble units.

You will also rotate into a clean room environment as needed.

• Work collaboratively on a production line to complete assembly tasks using small hand tools.
• Train on 12 different stations over a period of 2-3 months.
• Assemble units according to written English instructions, both independently and alongside team members.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment to ensure continuous production flow.
• Work in a clean room environment as needed, performing tasks such as labeling products and sealing packaging.
• Stand for the duration of your shift while working in the clean room.

• Valid visa for 2 years from the date of hire.
• 1 year of experience in a fast-paced production line.
• Comfortable working a 1-year contract.
• Proficiency with small hand tools such as crimpers, screwdrivers, and tweezers.
• Ability to work with small parts and pieces during assembly.
• Capability to stand all shift long and lift up to 30lbs occasionally.
• Basic computer skills and good English communication.

• Soldering experience.
• PCB assembly experience in a highly regulated environment.
• Ability to read instructions for soldering and match numbers to wires.

You will work in a clean and diverse environment with a casual dress code. Please note that cosmetics, jewelry, and personal items like phones are not allowed on the production line or in the clean room. The shift runs Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with approximately 60 team members on the production floor.

This is a Contract position based out of Burnaby, BC.

The pay range for this position is $21.71 - $21.71/hr.
