PM Shift Production Assembler

Join our team as a PM Shift Production Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in manufacturing high-quality medical devices. This position involves working in a fast-paced production line and occasionally in a cleanroom environment.

• Collaborate with a team to complete production orders on a fast-paced line.
• Train across 12 production stations over a period of 2-3 months.
• Follow written English instructions to assemble units using small hand tools.
• Work both independently and alongside team members at assembly stations.
• Ensure smooth workflow to prevent bottlenecks in production.
• Work in a cleanroom environment, standing for entire shifts while labeling and sealing products.
• Adhere to strict cleanliness and safety protocols in the cleanroom.

• Possession of a 2-year valid visa from the date of hire.
• 1 year of experience in a fast-paced production line environment.
• Comfortable committing to a 1-year contract.
• Proficiency in using small basic hand tools such as crimpers, screwdrivers, and tweezers.
• Ability to work with small pieces and parts during assembly.
• Capability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 30 lbs (non-repetitively).
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficient in English communication, both verbal and reading.

• Experience with soldering and PCB assembly in regulated environments.
• Ability to read and follow instructions for soldering tasks.
• A positive attitude and quick learning ability, with a focus on detail-oriented work.

The work environment is clean and diverse, with a casual dress code. Pride in building high-quality products is evident among the hardworking and focused team. The cleanroom has strict protocols against cosmetics and jewelry. The production floor consists of about 60 team members, working Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Please note that no eating, drinking, or use of phones is allowed on the production line.

This is a Contract position based out of Burnaby, BC.

The pay range for this position is $21.71 - $21.71/hr.
