Position: Cheese Specialist at Choices Markets
Elevate your passion for cheese with Choices Markets as a Cheese Specialist in Burnaby. Be responsible for cutting, ordering, and managing all cheese operations at our facility.
Choices Markets is seeking a dedicated Cheese Specialist to oversee the entire cheese production process. This role involves managing product logistics and educating customers and staff about cheese. You will also train and develop team members while ensuring food safety protocols are followed in our production kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine and oversee daily cheese cutting production

• Manage ordering, pricing, inventory, and sales planning

• Train and supervise cheese production staff

• Lead cheese education for customer and staff engagement

• Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:

• Passion for cheese with practical experience

• Food management experience in inventory and ordering

• Background in people management and training

• Knowledge of food safety standards, ideally with Foodsafe Level One

• Strong organizational and communication skills
