ARC’One, our manufacturing facility in New Westminster, is home to a team of skilled makers and technicians who bring Arc’teryx products to life. Located near our Design Center, the facility plays an important role in how we prototype, test, refine and manufacture the technical gear we are known for. Some of our most technically complex products, including Alpha SV and new product pilots, are built here.
The facility also supports ReBIRD repair and renewal programs, helping extend the life of Arc’teryx gear.
- You manage quality systems in raw materials/receiving, cutting and bundling, and production areas.
- You lead and develop the Production inline and final QC team to ensure effective growth of the team.
- You motivate and guide the quality team using effective communication, training, and team building skills.
- You develop and implement quality training programs to ensure Arc’teryx quality standards are efficiently upheld.
- You oversee non-conformances and ensure completion of root cause analysis of quality issues through collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- You seek opportunities for improvement and drive standardization of quality and production.
- You analyze KPIs to identify key areas of opportunity and celebration.
- You utilize data to communicate prioritization to internal and external teams.
- You support New Product Introduction and develop robust changeover processes.
- You collaborate with subject matter experts to create inspection plans for new and existing finished goods and raw materials.
- You assess product quality challenges and collaborate with appropriate collaborators to problem solve and define next steps.
- You work closely with the Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) Finished Goods Inspection team to build training and alignment of standards across brand quality teams.
- Developing internal quality training programs.
- Developing non-conformance escalation procedures.
- Defining inspection plans and processes.
- 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing and quality with experience in a leadership role.
- 2+ years’ experience developing and/or executing quality management systems.
- Motivated problem solver with thorough understanding of RCA and CAPA methods.
- Experienced in interpreting and analyzing data to communicate and drive decisions.
- Knowledge of apparel production systems as well as quality management systems.
- Experience working with Power
BI, Smartsheets, and Microsoft Excel. - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is ideal.
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and asks the right questions.
- Ability to tactfully manage multiple interests and priorities.
- Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.

- Fluency in a second language.
