Intertek is searching for a Grain Inspector (Casual Part‑Time - Union) to join our Agri team in Burnaby, BC office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career!

• Attend vessel loading to provide incremental grading as per CGC standards of grain, canola and pulse crops
• Perform moisture, protein, falling number and DON testing as per acceptable industry methods
• Divide samples, make up composite samples for retention and complete required paperwork
• Communicate and work in collaboration with terminal shipping department
• Properly utilize and maintain all PPE

• Experience in grain grading as per CGC standards
• Communication, literacy and numeracy skills in English
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work shift work

The base wage for this position is between $33.53-$41.66 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job‑related reasons.
