Sanitization Associate Westminster

Overview

The Sanitization Associate is responsible for maintaining strict cleanliness and hygiene standards within a cannabis processing or manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements while supporting production efficiency and product quality.

• Cleaning & Sanitizing:
  Perform routine cleaning of production equipment, tools, and surfaces;
  Sanitize work areas according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures);
  Use industrial cleaning agents safely and correctly.
• Compliance & Safety:
  Follow Health Canada / local regulatory sanitation guidelines;
  Maintain records/logs of cleaning activities;
  Adhere to workplace safety protocols (PPE, chemical handling, etc.).
• Facility Maintenance:
  Keep floors, walls, drains, and storage areas clean;
  Assist with waste disposal and hazardous material handling;
  Report maintenance or sanitation issues immediately.
• Cross-Department Support:
  Coordinate with production teams to ensure equipment readiness;
  Assist during shutdowns or deep-cleaning cycles.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in cleaning, sanitation, or manufacturing (food/pharma/cannabis preferred)
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and chemicals
• Robust attention to detail and consistence
• Ability to follow written SOPs and compliance requirements

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
