Become a Linen Management Worker with The Salvation Army, focused on sorting, operating equipment, and maintaining high standards for linen services.
In this critical role, you will sort, fold, and manage linen while operating equipment like washers and steam finishers at The Salvation Army. You will also be responsible for weighing and distributing linen effectively, ensuring adherence to cleanliness and quality standards.
Your role is essential in sustaining unit quotas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and fold linen, maintaining accurate records
• Operate steam finishers, ironers, and laundry machines
• Manage loading and unloading of cleaning equipment
• Weigh and collect linen from designated areas
• Execute additional pertinent duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Familiarity with laundry machines is an advantage
• Detail-oriented and systematic work ethic
• Ability to follow safety guidelines consistently
• Experience in physically demanding roles
• Cooperative approach to working with teammates
