Sunoco LP is seeking a Turnaround Event Planning Intern to support its refinery Turnaround team. This role provides valuable exposure to shutdown planning and scheduling while assisting the Event Manager with operational execution. Ideal candidates are enrolled in Process/Chemical Technology, Project Management, or related fields and possess strong teamwork and adaptability skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in staff planning and execution of turnaround events

• Develop and maintain work scope and schedules

• Prepare essential planning documents and reports

• Validate readiness through field walkdowns

• Facilitate core team meetings and reviews

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Experience with scheduling software is a plus

• Interest in industrial operations or project execution

• Ability to work effectively in teams

• Adaptability to changing priorities
