Position: Machine/Baler Operator - Merlin Plastics Group
Location: New Westminster

Join Merlin Plastics Group as a Machine/Baler Operator, where you'll safely run baling equipment and maintain operational excellence in our recycling facility. This full-time role requires attention to detail and effective teamwork.

As a permanent Machine Operator, you will operate and maintain baling machinery while ensuring production standards are met. Previous experience in a plant or warehouse environment is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently will lead to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control baling process using video monitoring systems

• Operate machinery to manage full bunkers

• Record weights and maintain accurate information

• Ensure cleanliness of baling equipment

• Check and clean bales for contamination

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

• Previous plant or warehouse experience preferred

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Initiative and willingness to learn
