As the Associate Field Service Engineer you will support the international roll‑out of our approved prostate cancer imaging agent and help advance our portfolio of late‑clinical stage products that address significant unmet need in oncology and rare diseases.
KeyAccountabilities
- Lead or participate in the planning, installation, and maintenance of ARTMS equipment at customer sites, ensuring successful installation, qualification procedures, and customer acceptance.
- Perform electromechanical installations, equipment and process qualifications, preventative maintenance, and on‑site technical support.
- Provide training to customers and telix ARTMS team members on equipment use, automated radio chemical separations, and quality control procedures.
- Maintain tools, tool kits, and equipment databases; generate installation, service, and export documentation.
- Document lessons learned and support continual improvement in line with our ISO 9001 quality management system.
- Assist with incoming material inspections and help create field service documentation, tool lists, and spare parts lists.
- Provide after‑sales virtual and/or on‑site technical support and troubleshooting.
- Travel up to 60% including international flights; work extended hours and shift work including overnight for installations.
- Be willing to be designated a Nuclear Energy Worker (NEW). Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or a technical diploma with relevant experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in mechatronic or electrical systems.
- Experience installing and commissioning control‑system based equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn safe chemical/radio chemical handling for automated radio chemical purification and quality control.
- Experience troubleshooting control systems and reading electrical schematics, circuit drawings, P&, and other technical diagrams.
- Experience with inspection tools, power tools, hand tools, and power‑distribution circuits.
- Team player with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of cyclotron hardware, especially targetry and target stations.
- Technical knowledge of radioisotope production, radio chemical separation processes, and radioisotope quality control procedures (radio‑TLC, HPLC, endotoxin, etc.).
- Experience working in radioactive environments.
- Understanding of cGMP and/or ISO 9001 standards.
- Language abilities in French, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Portuguese, Korean, German, Swedish, Russian, or another language.
