Position: Advanced Electromechanical Assembler Role
Join D-Wave Systems as an Electromechanical Production Assembler in Burnaby, where you will build cutting-edge hardware for quantum computing. This role demands hands-on precision and teamwork.

As an Electromechanical Production Assembler III at D-Wave, you will play a key role in the Engineering and Production team. This hands-on position requires a minimum of four years’ experience in assembling complex mechanical or electromechanical systems. Your responsibilities will be to read and interpret engineering documentation and produce various components needed for innovative technology. We seek a detail-oriented professional ready to work in a busy, collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions

• Assemble systems, including manifolds and tubing

• Cut and install tubing while ensuring component alignment

• Conduct basic electrical assembly tasks

• Keep the workspace secure and organized

Requirements:

• Technical diploma or equivalent experience

• 4+ years in mechanical or electromechanical assembly

• Familiarity with shop tools and equipment

• Good problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to handle up to 50 lbs
