We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
We are now preparing for our upcoming commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.
Due to the nature of our manufacturing operations, this role is on 3 x 4 shift schedule ( Wednesday/Saturday
- Thursday/Saturday from 7 :00pm to 7:30 pm). Occasional work on statutory holidays may also be required . For candidates selected to interview, this will be discussed in more detail.
Please note, this opportunity is an on-site, full-time work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.
Meaningful work you will be a part of
As a Production Supervisor, you will develop and manage the Production team. The candidate will be expected to prioritize production schedules based on labour availability, equipment efficiency, and materials supply, and will play a key role in the hiring process for new team members. This role will require significant interaction with other operations teams on a daily basis , so an ability to work across functional groups is essential.
The Production Supervisor will also take ownership of other essential initiatives required to run a world ‑ class production facility. These include, but are not limited to, driving the 5S program, cleanroom infrastructure support activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Plan and schedule resources and communicate daily production objectives to the production team.
- Participate in weekly production planning meetings .
- Coordinate activities with other departments to minimize production downtime .
- Lead or coordinate troubleshooting of production processes .
- Assist with non ‑ conformance investigations as required
- Monitor productivity and quality and identify opportunities for improvement .
- Lead or participate in implementation of GMP, 5S, lean and visual manufacturing initiatives .
- Provide Level 2 inspection support for production processes .
- Develop staffing plans based on planning objectives and capacity analysis and communicate . resource requirements to the Production Manager .
- Drive employee training and assist the Production Manager with employee development plans .
- Plan and coordinate cross training to provide maximum production flexibility .
- Motivate employees to achieve objectives and goals by providing feedback and recognition .
- Conduct performance and compensation review s .
- Ensure employees are aware of and follow all workplace health and safety requirement .
