D-Wave is seeking a hands-on Electronics Production Assembler I, II, or III to join our Engineering and Production team. You’ll assemble and test the electronic and electro-mechanical systems that power our state-of-the‑art quantum computers.

Working closely with Engineering, Lab Technicians, and Engineering Change Control, you’ll help ensure assemblies meet high standards for quality, safety, and performance while contributing to continuous improvement across our processes and systems.

• Assemble electro‑mechanical and cable assemblies, electrical components, connectors, wiring, and harnesses.
• Perform manual SMT soldering, including fine‑pitch components and PCB rework under magnification.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, assembly instructions, and other manufacturing documentation.
• Perform inspections and testing to verify quality and product specifications.
• Complete production records, work orders, and inventory documentation.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and communicate technical questions, delays, and improvement opportunities.
• Support improvements to assembly methods, tooling, techniques, and documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Provide general lab and production support as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent education and experience; post‑secondary technical training in electronics, electrical, mechanical, or a related field is an asset.
• Experience in electronics, electro‑mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related environment.
• Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work with hand tools, soldering equipment, microscopes, and basic test equipment.
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation and BOMs.
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and collaborative, with a commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs or more.
• Flexibility to support peak production periods as needed.
• Willingness to support lab, field, production, or shop activities as required.
• Commitment to safe work practices, quality workmanship, and respectful collaboration.
