Support pipeline operations as an Instrumentation Technician at Trans Mountain’s Westridge Terminal. Full-time position focuses on instrumentation and emergency response expertise in a shift schedule environment.
Seeking a values-driven individual, Trans Mountain offers the role of Instrumentation Technician to those eager to contribute to public safety and environmental stewardship. The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency in instrumentation calibration, control systems, and emergency response support in a collaborative work setting. This position is crucial for ensuring the reliability of the pipeline and terminal infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Calibrate and troubleshoot instrumentation and communication networks
• Maintain control systems including flow computers
• Document maintenance tasks using tracking software
• Provide operational support for equipment reliability
• Assist in emergency response training and exercises
Requirements:
• High School completion with Red Seal certification
• Relevant industrial experience of 3-5 years
• Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Available for on-call rotation as needed
