Manufacturing ​/ Production Technician, Assembly

Our client, manufacturing industry, is seeking a Technician to join their team. As a Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Technician
Location: Burnaby, BC
Pay: $20/hr
Shift: Rotating shifts, two-week intervals:
Morning shift: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm;
Afternoon shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

What's the Job?

• Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Perform wiring, cable assembly, soldering, and connector installation.
• Conduct functional testing and inspections to verify product quality.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and report defects or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, or electronics assembly preferred.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
