D-Wave is seeking a skilled Mechanical Production Technician II to join our Engineering and Production team in Burnaby, Canada. Your expertise will be crucial in assembling, testing, and integrating advanced quantum computing mechanisms.
As a Mechanical Production Technician II, you will leverage over three years of experience in manufacturing complex assemblies. Key responsibilities include assembling mechanical systems, conducting pressure and vacuum testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll have an integral role in enhancing manufacturing processes while adhering to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and verify mechanical and electromechanical systems
• Perform gas handling and vacuum hardware installations
• Conduct mechanical validation and testing activities
• Fabricate jigs to enhance efficiency
• Maintain production tools and equipment safely
Requirements:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent
• 3+ years in mechanical system assembly
• Familiarity with tubing and pressure systems
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and diagrams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
