Outdoor Labourer at ABC Recycling B.C.

ABC Recycling in Burnaby, B.C. is searching for General Labourers to process scrap metals and maintain yard operations. This role will focus on critical sorting, cutting, and customer interactions.

As a General Labourer at ABC Recycling Ltd., you will be involved in moving, sorting, and packaging various types of scrap metal for transport. Successful candidates will be familiar with assessing ferrous metals and ensure the yard's upkeep while delivering excellent service to clients. Previous experience in a fast-paced setting will be considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and sort received metals for grading accuracy

• Maintain safety standards and yard cleanliness at all times

• Load and unload trailers using a forklift as required

• Communicate professionally with customers during services

• Drain fluids from vehicles and prepare them for baling

Requirements:

• Prior experience in scrap metal sorting preferred

• Knowledge of ferrous types and grades needed

• Willingness to work outside in various weather conditions

• Forklift operation skills are beneficial

• Strong communication skills required
