Operate water-fed polishing equipment in Burnaby, BC, using precision and attention to detail to refine stone surfaces safely. This is full-time, in-person work.
This Experienced Water Polisher position supports a family-run manufacturer and fabricator near Brentwood Mall. You will polish granite, quartz, marble, porcelain, and other stone surfaces. The work includes finishing, edge profiling, smoothing, quality checks, and equipment maintenance while meeting high craftsmanship standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate water-fed polishing machines and hand tools
- Inspect surfaces for defects and finishing quality
- Perform edge profiling, smoothing, and surface refinement
- Maintain water flow to prevent surface damage
- Complete equipment maintenance and workplace cleaning
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Safe, effective operation of polishing machinery
- Basic understanding of stone materials and finishing
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand extended periods
- Driver's License, Canadian residency, steel-toed boots, and respirator
