Role: Marketing Manager
Reports to: Director of Marketing
Location: BC (Burnaby)
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. The role is responsible for working collaboratively with the team to lead, develop, and implement marketing programs and help build our family of brands.
Opportunities
In this role, you will champion and manage a variety of marketing activities across the division. This hybrid role involves managing brands within the Retail Grocery category. The primary objective is to develop and implement effective marketing programs to attract passionate consumers and customers to our brands. You will also lead product innovation ideas from conception to launch. Our leading brands in your portfolio include Happy Planet, Happy Planet Creamery, and a2 Milk™.

- Experience developing and executing marketing strategies, objectives, and KPIs
- Proven knowledge in all areas of marketing including digital marketing and launching new products
Experience
- 5-10 years in a Consumer Packaged Goods marketing role
- Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
- Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams)
- Experience with Google Analytics, Word Press, and social media platforms
- Consumer marketing experience in the food industry and ability to work closely with sales and customers as needed

Responsibilities
- Support the Marketing team to perform at a high level and implement action plans to meet business targets
- Develop and execute annual Marketing plans
- Own the Marketing expense budget and tracking
- Take a lead role in all new product innovations and ensure cross-functional alignment for flawless execution
- Provide thought leadership in brand management, marketing, product innovation and customer requests
- Identify and implement areas for improvement within the marketing function
Other
- Some travel may be required
- Attendance at industry events and trade shows as needed
Detailed Description Of Duties
- Responsible for developing annual marketing plans and executing against them
- Ownership of the Marketing Budget and responsibility for spending and tracking
- Has P&L responsibility for brand performance
- Manages all product innovation from concept to in-market execution
- Leads the brand strategy across defined portfolio
- Manages all facets of Social Media platforms and develops and recommends strategies to grow the user base for our brands
- Works closely with agency partners to develop winning marketing strategies across all 4 P’s of marketing
- Key media contact for brand related enquiries
