Position: Douglas College Communications Management Role

Drive innovative communications at Douglas College as the Manager of Communications in New Westminster with flexible hybrid work options. This strategic role focuses on enhancing communications internally and externally.

This position is temporary, starting on August 4, 2026, through maternity leave, and reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications. Your extensive five years of management experience in communications will be pivotal in strategizing and executing effective communications initiatives while managing impactful team activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead internal and external communications strategies

• Plan, manage, and evaluate communication activities

• Collaborate with the Director on key communications projects

• Lead a proficient communications team

• Assess the success of communication efforts

Requirements:

• Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience

• Minimum five years in communications management

• Proven ability to lead a diverse team

• Extensive knowledge of communications strategies

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
