As a Communications Specialist, you'll work closely with BCSTA’s CEO and board, using your expertise in media relations, digital content, and advocacy.
Your role will ensure quality and consistency in all communications while navigating political spheres and engaging diverse audiences through compelling media coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create key messages and proactive media coverage
• Draft and distribute engaging media releases
• Develop impactful advocacy materials for meetings
• Contribute to dynamic digital content across platforms
• Monitor communications content for accuracy and quality
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in communications or related field
• Five years of experience in media relations
• Strong understanding of digital media production
• Exceptional writing skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Collaborative mindset with a customer-service focus
Utilize your media relations, writing skills, and digital expertise to enhance BCSTA's communication impact.
