Stakeholder Engagement Consultant

Join Trans Mountain as a Stakeholder Engagement & Communications Advisor in Burnaby, British Columbia. This contract position emphasizes building vital community relationships and developing effective communication strategies.

You will play a key role in the External Relations team by implementing stakeholder engagement and communications plans. With 5–7 years of relevant experience, you’ll draw on your skills to maintain trust across the pipeline corridor. Your responsibilities will include facilitating community events, managing inquiries, and identifying risks affecting the organization’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute engagement and communications strategies

• Act as liaison between stakeholders and Trans Mountain

• Lead community outreach efforts and events

• Analyze feedback from stakeholders and report trends

• Prepare comprehensive communication materials for external audiences

Requirements:

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field

• 5–7 years of experience in public affairs and stakeholder engagement

• Excellent coordination and public representation skills

• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities

• Knowledge of regulatory agencies and procedures
