Position: Director, Resource Development for Labour Partnerships
Shape the future of union participation as the Director, Resource Development at United Way BC. This pivotal role focuses on Labour-linked fundraising and community engagement in a hybrid model.

In this senior position, you will be responsible for executing integrated strategies that enhance relationships with Labour organizations. Your collaboration with internal teams and community partners will support the organization’s revenue goals and deepen union engagement. This role requires strategic thinking and commitment to social impact through fundraising.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop targeted fundraising strategies for union accounts

• Lead planning and execution of Labour events and campaigns

• Foster ties with Labour leaders and community partners

• Implement training programs for UWBC staff and volunteers

• Analyze data for effective donor engagement and account growth

Requirements:

• Solid background in fundraising and community engagement

• Strong understanding of the challenges within the Labour movement

• Proven success in relationship building across stakeholders

• Experience in developing and executing community-focused programs

• Ability to travel throughout British Columbia as needed
