We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse with up to five years of experience in community health, nursing homes, and private residences.
Your role will involve administering medication, providing personal care, and engaging with patients’ families. You will practice aseptic techniques, monitor vital signs, and ensure infection control throughout your service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic effects
• Conduct specimen collection and monitor nutrition
• Provide pre- and post-operative personal care
• Record patient observations and health education
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to evaluate care progress
Requirements:
• Eligible for provincial licensure as a practical nurse
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate required
• Experience with venipuncture preferred
• Valid driver's license with personal vehicle
• Immunization records and criminal record check
