Join the team at Royal Columbian Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit. Utilize your critical care expertise to provide advanced nursing care to patients with life-threatening conditions.

This role is vital for experienced Registered Nurses with critical care certification. At our Level One Trauma Centre in New Westminster, B.C., you will assess, plan, and implement care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You’ll also engage in quality improvement and training for staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and evaluate patient nursing care

• Collect vital information for accurate care provision

• Write detailed reports on patient observations

• Communicate care plans with team members and families

• Advocate for patient rights and dignity

Requirements:

• Current RN registration with BCCNM

• Critical Care Level 2 course completion

• 1 year of Cardiac Surgery experience

• Effective communication skills

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
