Become a valued member of the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, B.C. as a Cardiac Surgery ICU Nurse. This role invites you to apply your critical care expertise in a transformative healthcare environment.
As a qualified Registered Nurse, you will operate within our Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit, handling complex cases requiring advanced monitoring and support.

Your role involves assessing patients’ needs, coordinating care, and liaising with multidisciplinary teams for holistic treatment plans. Committed to quality, you'll engage in improvement projects and contribute to the ongoing education of nursing peers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions

• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

• Communicate effectively with patients and health teams

• Advocate for patient autonomy and dignity at all times

• Engage in nursing committees for patient care enhancement
Requirements:

• Active BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse

• Completion of Critical Care Level 2 course

• Minimum one year of experience in Cardiac Surgery

• Valid Basic Rescuer Certificate

• Strong ability to prioritize and communicate effectively
