Experienced Registered Nurse in Geriatric Care

Location: new westminster

Support elderly patients at Queen's Park Care Centre as an Experienced Registered Nurse in New Westminster, B.C.

Your role is pivotal in fostering independence and quality care.
In this Casual position, based at our specialized seniors clinic, you will implement and evaluate nursing interventions while working closely with families and care teams. Your ability to teach and engage will help in managing health care goals for older adults, creating a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor geriatric patients’ conditions

• Collaboratively develop care plans with families

• Coordinate discharge planning and referrals

• Provide education on health maintenance and prevention

• Keep detailed records of patient care
Requirements:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM

• Two years of experience in acute care for seniors

• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate

• Skills in teaching and patient advocacy

• Physical competence to perform nursing duties
