As part of Burnaby Hospital's notable redevelopment initiatives, the ICU Registered Nurse plays a vital role in providing direct, patient-centered care to those in critical condition. Your responsibilities include thorough assessments, effective interventions, and collaboration with patients and families. Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate patient health conditions
• Collaborate effectively with health care professionals
• Educate patients and family members on care plans
• Document care procedures and outcomes accurately
• Mentor new nursing staff and students
Requirements:
• Valid B.C. Registered Nurse designation
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current BCLS certification mandatory
• Clinical experience in intensive care preferred
• Ability to communicate across diverse backgrounds
