Position: Surgical Registered Nurse at Fraser Health

Join Fraser Health as a Registered Nurse in the Colon Screening Program, where you'll coordinate patient care and deliver health education. This dynamic role requires collaboration and expert clinical skills in a supportive team environment.
As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, you'll facilitate care for patients referred to the Colon Screening Program (CSP). Your responsibilities will include pre and post colonoscopy assessments, patient education, and ensuring smooth communication between healthcare providers. Promoting optimal health outcomes is essential through the provision of quality care and support during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate care for program participants/patients

• Conduct assessments and nursing diagnoses

• Deliver patient and family education materials

• Monitor and document clinical data for quality assurance

• Collaborate on improving service outcomes with the CSP team
Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• Two years related experience in colon cancer screening

• Current registration with BCCNM

• Valid BC Driver's License for business purposes

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
