Part-Time Perinatal Nurse Position

Location: new westminster

Pursue your passion for maternal care as a Part-Time Registered Nurse in Perinatal Nursing at Royal Columbian Hospital, Fraser Health in New Westminster, B.C. Join a committed team focused on compassionate patient care.
This relief role is available until approximately September 2027, where you will deliver nursing care to childbearing patients. Your contributions will be key in assessing, planning, and evaluating interventions to ensure quality maternity care. Work collaboratively with an inter-professional team to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments

• Create and update care plans in collaboration with the team

• Coordinate care and manage patient referrals

• Educate patients and families on health promotion

• Document patient treatments and responses accurately
Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school

• Current practicing registration with BCCNM

• At least one year of relevant perinatal experience

• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation and Basic Rescuer

• Effective communication skills and empathy for patients
