Position OverviewWe are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) for PACU opportunities in Burnaby, British Columbia. These assignments provide the opportunity to work in fast‑paced surgical recovery environments while collaborating with highly skilled multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Responsibilities- Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management interventions as required
- Assess airway, breathing, circulation, and overall patient stability
- Recognize and respond promptly to post‑operative complications or emergencies
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and reporting
- Educate patients and families regarding post‑operative care and recovery expectations
- Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital policies and procedures
- Support efficient patient flow and recovery room operations in a fast‑paced environment
