As part of Fraser Health, you will be a Registered Nurse specializing in perinatal care, responsible for providing nursing assessments and interventions for patients during critical stages of childbirth. Collaboratively work with families and care teams to ensure quality health services and assist in developing individualized care plans that respect patient autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed assessments of patients and unborn children
• Collaborate to create and update care plans
• Advocate for patient rights and privacy
• Participate in quality improvement and research projects
• Facilitate patient education regarding pregnancy and parenting
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in BC
• At least one year of perinatal nursing experience
• Basic and neonatal resuscitation certifications required
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to culturally safe care practices
