Fraser Health seeks a skilled Registered Nurse for Cardiac Services in their Cardiac Cath Lab, providing person-centered patient care in an acute medical setting. Utilize your clinical expertise to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
This role involves working collaboratively with the interprofessional care team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through effective care management. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform critical assessments, implement nursing interventions, and communicate effectively with patients and families. Your responsibilities will include prioritizing tasks and coordinating comprehensive care based on physician and anaesthetist orders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for coordinated patient care
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance
• Perform clinical interventions and monitor vital signs
• Maintain safety and quality standards in care
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with BCCNM
• Completion of Cardiology component of advanced training
• Minimum one year experience in cardiac care
• Current CPR (Level
C) certification
• Proficiency in emergency response measures
