Resource Ability is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses for home-based care for a pediatric client. This position emphasizes independent work and requires strong interpersonal communication skills. Nurses will provide vital respite care during scheduled shifts from 7 am to 10 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver 1:1 respite care for a toddler
• Assist in daily living activities within the home
• Maintain effective communication with the family
• Document care provided and any observations
• Uphold safety standards as per health guidelines
Requirements:
• Current ‘practicing’ registration with BCCNM
• Valid CPR ‘C’ or BLS certification
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination guidelines
