Enhance your nursing career in hospice palliative care with a Casual Registered Nurse position in New Westminster, B.C. Provide essential client-focused care while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
In this crucial role, you will assess, coordinate, and prioritize care for hospice palliative clients, ensuring interventions meet established care plans. Act as a key resource for other nurses and team members, utilizing your advanced knowledge to improve client outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate client assessments and prioritize care plans
• Provide clinical guidance and consultation to nursing staff
• Implement and evaluate clinical education and training
• Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities
• Advocate for clients’ rights and dignity during care
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with British Columbia College
• Three years of recent nursing experience, including leadership
• CNA certificate in relevant clinical area
• Valid BC Driver's License
• Strong knowledge of hospice palliative care practices
