Make a difference in neonatal care as a Registered Nurse with Fraser Health, offering expert support to newborns and their families. This role emphasizes Family-Centered Care and requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

As a key member of the NICU team, you will provide and coordinate specialized nursing care for newborns in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, participating in high-risk deliveries, and providing direct nursing care in line with BCCNM standards. Engage with primary care providers and families to ensure optimal care planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for newborns

• Participate in high-risk deliveries and implement NRP

• Write timely reports of observations and care provided

• Collaborate with specialists for comprehensive care

• Maintain accurate health records following guidelines

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with BCCNM certification

• 1 year of experience in a neonatal unit

• Completion of Neonatal Nursing Program

• Current Basic Rescuer and NRP certifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills
