Position: Inpatient Psychiatry Registered Nurse Role

At Fraser Health, you will provide and coordinate recovery-oriented psychiatric nursing care. Engaging with patients, you will assess their needs, implement care plans, and play an active role within a multidisciplinary team to support therapeutic programs and quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing assessments and plan patient care

• Facilitate effective communication among care team members

• Advocate for patient rights and dignity

• Participate in nursing committees for patient care

• Provide mentorship and training to new nursing staff

Requirements:

• Approved School of Nursing graduation

• Registration as an RN or RPN with BCCNM

• Familiarity with mental health treatments and policies

• Proven assessment and crisis intervention skills

• Excellent written and oral communication abilities
