Join the Progressive Housing Society as a Community Registered Nurse (RN) focused on delivering compassionate care for individuals with mental health needs. Engage collaboratively with partners to foster optimal recovery and support.
This role requires a team-oriented Community RN to provide clinical support in collaboration with Fraser Health Authority's Burnaby Mental Health program. You will execute comprehensive assessments, manage medication administration, and guide a collaborative team approach to client care. Emphasizing a harm reduction philosophy, your actions will directly impact client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct clinical care to clients and groups
• Support individual Recovery Plans with the interdisciplinary team
• Oversee medication administration and train staff accordingly
• Facilitate team decision-making and client advocacy
• Contribute to hiring and training of nursing staff
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with CRNBC licensure
• Minimum three years of related nursing experience
• Experience working with vulnerable populations
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Valid BC driver’s license and vehicle for work use
