Licensed Practical Nurse Pediatric Care

Make a difference in pediatric health by providing 1:1 nursing care in Burnaby, BC. This flexible, casual role allows Licensed Practical Nurses to work with a toddler during 4-8 hour shifts.
Resource Ability is on the lookout for dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to offer respite care within a nurturing home environment. Shifts are available between 7 am and 10 pm, focusing on independent work and effective communication. This role is crucial in supporting both the child and their family.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individualized nursing care for a toddler
• Support daily needs and activities at home
• Communicate effectively with family members
• Keep accurate records of care and health updates
• Follow safety protocols and health guidelines strictly
Requirements:
• Active ‘practicing’ registration with BCCNM
• BLS certification or valid CPR ‘C’ certification
• Proven ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Adhere to COVID-19 vaccination requirements
