Location: New Westminster
Join the dedicated team at Royal Columbian Hospital’s Cardiac Cath Lab as a Registered Nurse focused on cardiac intervention. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates to enhance our patient care services.
You'll work in a dynamic team, delivering compassionate care tailored to cardiac patients' needs. This role requires you to perform thorough assessments, coordinate patient care, and educate families. You will also have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives and mentor new nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and evaluate comprehensive nursing care
• Modify care plans based on changing needs
• Ensure proper setup for interventional procedures
• Document patient care and advocate for patient rights
• Teach health maintenance and illness prevention
Requirements:
• Approved nursing degree and BCCNM registration
• Experience in cardiac settings or telemetry units
• Current CPR (Level
C) and ACLS certifications
• Successful completion of cardiology-related courses
• Ability to work and adapt in high-stress situations
