This position focuses on providing Registered Nurses with the opportunity to rotate through specialty units while solidifying their Emergency nursing skills. Successful candidates will engage in direct patient care and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance overall health outcomes while managing care transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and document patient conditions using clinical reasoning
• Encourage family involvement in care plan development
• Assist with care and discharge planning procedures
• Coordinate nursing activities and assist support staff
• Teach patients about health maintenance and self-care
Requirements:
• Current Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is essential
• Commitment to completing post-graduate education
• Strong communication and teaching abilities
• Skills in data integration for nursing decisions
