Bring your critical care expertise to one of Canada's top Level One Trauma Centres. As a Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, and evaluate care for patients in need of cardiac surgery. Your compassionate approach will ensure effective communication with healthcare teams, patients, and families while maintaining high standards of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate nursing care for cardiac surgery patients
• Plan and implement nursing interventions based on patient needs
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals during care delivery
• Educate patients and families about their treatment plans
• Advocate for patient rights, autonomy, and dignity
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved nursing program
• Current registration with BCCNM
• 1 year of cardiac surgery experience or equivalent
• Recent Critical Care Level 2 course completion
• Strong communication and organizational skills
