As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize your clinical experience to lead skin and wound care practices, offering training and support to both staff and patients. This position emphasizes collaboration with an interprofessional team to ensure the highest standards in patient care.
Your role will also involve research and policy participation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide evidence-based skin and wound care leadership
• Implement direct care techniques for staff training
• Assess and follow through on complex wound cases
• Develop teaching materials based on clinical assessments
• Plan and evaluate educational activities for team effectiveness
Requirements:
• Registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM
• 3 years of experience in skin and wound care, plus 1 year in education
• Post-graduate certification in relevant clinical areas
• Access to a vehicle for work-related duties
