Registered Nurse - Emergency Care Specialist

Location: New Westminster

Become a critical part of the Royal Columbian Hospital's Emergency Department team in New Westminster, B.C. as a Registered Nurse with a focus on urgent patient care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

As a key player in a Level One Trauma Centre, your role involves assessing and treating patients in critical situations. You will collaborate closely with healthcare teams to establish and implement effective care plans, emphasizing patient dignity and family involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnoses

• Collaborate and engage families in care planning

• Prioritize and coordinate nursing duties with support staff

• Educate patients and families about care and recovery

• Ensure thorough documentation of all nursing activities

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing School

• Registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM

• Completion of emergency training courses

• Relevant experience in emergency department settings

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
