Step into a Clinical Nurse Specialist position as a Casual Registered Nurse focused on hospice palliative care in New Westminster, B.C. Drive quality care while mentoring nursing staff and ensuring best practices.
In this impactful role, you will assess clients' needs and develop care plans while leading the interdisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and prioritize client needs based on nursing standards
• Provide clinical consultations and support to healthcare teams
• Design and evaluate training programs for nursing staff
• Participate in safety audits and risk management efforts
• Advocate for client dignity and rights in all care scenarios
Requirements:
• Active registration as a Nurse in British Columbia
• At least three years of nursing experience, including leadership
• Current CNA certificate in a relevant area
• Possess a valid BC Driver's License
• In-depth knowledge of hospice palliative care principles
