Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and create nursing diagnoses

• Collaborate with families to develop care plans

• Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks responsibly

• Teach patients/families about health maintenance

• Participate in committees and quality improvement efforts

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• Current practicing registration with BCCNM

• Completion or willingness of post-graduate specialty nursing courses

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support

• Ability to perform patient assessments and interventions
