Location: New Westminster
Elevate your nursing career at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, B.C., as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit. Play a pivotal role in providing advanced care to critically ill patients.
We are seeking an experienced nurse with a background in critical care. You will manage nursing assessments, develop care plans, and implement essential interventions to support cardiac surgery patients. Participate actively in patient education and multidisciplinary care coordination to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement patient care plans and evaluate outcomes
• Perform comprehensive assessments to inform nursing decisions
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on treatment strategies
• Advocate for patient rights and provide emotional support
• Mentor nursing students and new staff members
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse designation with BCCNM
• Completion of Critical Care Level 2 course
• 1+ year cardiac surgery clinical experience preferred
